We have our first visit with Momma A!

Our adoption is finalized!

We have our first post placement visit.

We arrive home with Lilleth!

October 9, 2010
Lilleth Mina Ponder is born!

October 8, 2010
We get the call that labor has started and we travel to WA to meet Lilleth.

September 22, 2010
Our Service Plan is turned in and approved by our agency!

August 10-11, 2010
We spend more time with the birth mom, building our relationship.

July 12, 2010
We meet the birth mom for the first time! The baby girl is due 10/10/10.

July 8, 2010
We get a call from the agency and a birth mom has picked us!

June 25-26, 2010
We are handed our complete homestudy and attend our adoption education class. Waiting period officially begins!

June 4, 2010
We have our last homestudy interview with Alexis and our homestudy is complete. We are now officially in the pool!

May 22, 2010

Alexis, our social worker, conducts our homestudy interview!

May 17, 2010

We completed our family book and sent 15 copies to our agency to show to birthparents!

May 10, 2010

Our contract arrives to the agency signed sealed and delivered. Most of our other homestudy docs are turned in and we are signed up for the adoption class in June.

May 5, 2010

We turned in a pile of paperwork that will hopefully give us the green light in beginning the interview part of our homestudy.

April 29, 2010
We got a call from our agency asking us to be speedy in turning in our paperwork since they would like to show our profile to a birth mom next week!

April 16, 2010
We have our first in-person meeting with our agency and are officially accepted into the program and begin our next round of paperwork.

March 29, 2010
We turn in the second round of paperwork and set up our first in-person interview with our agency.

March 19, 2010

We choose an agency and send in our application.

March 12, 2010
We interview adoption agencies.

February 2010
We make it official...we are adopting!
